Marty graduated with honors from Raytown High School in 1978. He worked many years at the family business, Fun House Pizza on 40 Highway in Independence. He was also a lifelong avid Chiefs fan.
Marty was preceded in death by his mother, Opal, and an infant sister, Bonnie Lee.
Survivors include his father, a brother and his wife, and a nephew.
A memorial service was held at 7pm on Thursday, February 17th at the Park Lawn Chapel, 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, MO. Private burial was in Mount Washington Cemetery.
