Finis met and married the love of his life, Karen Anderson, and together they raised four children. He passed away one week before his 50th wedding anniversary.
He was a very loving, passionate man and always put his family first. This was evident in his final days as he summoned us to his bedside to give more hugs and kisses and another lecture, though he could barely speak.
Finis was a self-taught mechanic and spent endless hours working on vehicles of his own or family and friends. He was also willing to help anyone who needed a hand, regardless of how big or small the job might be. Throughout the years, he worked as a mechanic, farmed for area farmers and held other various jobs.
Finis had a passion for fishing and music. Many hours were spent on the banks of the Snake and Clearwater rivers with family and friends. You could always count on a fish fry, because he seldom returned home empty-handed. He also had his favorite fishing holes, but only some were privileged to this information.
As a young boy, Finis learned to play the guitar. He enjoyed singing and playing for his children and held countless jam sessions with his sister, Shirley and brother-in-law Art, with other family members often joining in, musically inclined or not.
Survivors names omitted per findagrave policy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 12 siblings; mother- and father-in-law Roy and Audrey Lockridge; brothers-in-law William Lockridge and Art Thomas; sister-in-law Loretta Lockridge; and niece Diane (Missy) Lockridge.
