MRS. MARTHA ORAM TELORD DIED EARLY THIS MORNING

Mother of Present Judge of This County, Passed Away from Effects of Old Age

Mrs. Martha Oram Telford, aged 84 years, the widow of Rev. John Cree Telford, died at her home on Water street, this (Thursday) morning at 8 o'clock. Death was due to complications of diseases. The daughter of James and Prudence Oram, the deceased was born in Canonsburg, Washington county. She married to Rev. Telford in 1843. Rev. Telford served the United Presbyterian churches in East Mahoning township and Eldersridge and after his death, Mrs. Telford moved with her family to Indiana, where they have since resided. She was a consistent member of the Second United Presbyterian church and regularly attended worship until a few years ago, when ill health compelled her to remain home. She leaves three children, Stephen James Telford, President Judge of the Indian County Courts; Mrs. J.H. Henderson of (?) and Margaret H at home. One sister, Mrs. Nancy Burnside, age 84, of Canonsburg, Pa., also survive. The funeral services will be held at the Telford Home, Saturday afternoon on February 13, at 2 o'clock. The internment will be made in Oakland cemetery.
