Actress. Born Marian Esther Roddan in Miami, Arizona, she was the daughter of John Roddan and Christina D. Henninger. Her screen name was Gail Arnold. She was in nine films between 1933 and 1937. She appeared in the 1933 film "Dancing Lady"(Chorus girl, Joan Crawford stand-in), and "Rendevous at Midnight"(1935). She was in the short films,"Free Rent"(1936) and "Super Snooper"(1937). Also, she was in the following Three Stooges shorts: "Hoi Polloi" (1935) [a party guest]; "A Pain in the Pullman" (1936) [ a showgirl]; "Whoops, I'm an Indian" (1936) [a girl in the saloon] and "Slippery Silks" (1936). In her later years, she was a travel agent. She died as Gail Matthews, January 26, 1977, in New York City.
