During his time in Lake Charles, Ronald worked for a good time at Picadilly Restaurant on Ryan Street and at several convenience stores as a clerk. He loved cooking and gardening. Ronald married Vicki Sue Clifford on August 29, 1974 in Manatee, Florida. Together, they had one son, Anthony Spencer.
In his later years, Mr. Spencer was unable to work due to his declining health. He passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 at the age of 63 in Lake Charles, LA.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Audrey Spencer.
Mr. Spencer is survived by one son, Tony Spencer of Clarksville, GA; two brothers, Ray Spencer of Sulphur, LA and Tommy Spencer of Lake City, FL; one sister, Regina Wawak of Lake Charles; and two grandchildren.
Cremation was handled by Johnson Funeral Home and his cremains were interred alongside his parents at Prien Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
