Robert J. "Bobby" Knox Jr., age 35, a Manitowoc resident, passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning, September 11, 2015 at his home.
Bobby was born on January 1, 1980 in Manitowoc, son of Robert Knox Sr. and the late Patricia (Kreisa) Knox. They say that family is the thread that ties us together in the blanket of life. To Bobby, family was his calling. He may not have always expressed it, but he loved, supported, and cared for his family and Friends. Kameron, Bobby's son, was the light of his life. Bobby's life had changed so much when his son was born. He learned how to become an amazing and proud father. Bobby is so proud of Kameron and you can see this emotion by watching the twinkle in his eye. Whether Kameron was playing football, watching movies, or sleeping in his bed, Bobby was there with his head held high. Bobby has shown such an incredible amount of compassion and support for his siblings and his nieces and nephews. Many years back, Bobby and the boys developed a tradition of becoming the firework crew. Every year, these boys would give an amazing firework show for the entire family. Bobby would not have missed this tradition for the world. Not only did Bobby love to entertain, he truly enjoyed making people laugh. He found comfort in watching other people smile and his sense of humor was priceless. Bobby also has a quiet and reserved side. He spent a lot of his time outdoors enjoying the garden, birds, and fresh air. He loved the outdoors and he wanted to begin a family camping tradition with him and his son. Bobby had a unique enthusiasm for life and he wanted to share every moment of it with his family. Bobby was an incredible father, loving son, supportive brother, and trusting friend. He would want all of us to celebrate his life with positive thoughts and remember him by his wonderful personality.
