ROSE KUBSCH
Mrs. Rose Kubsch, 72, of Rt. 2, Cato, died early Thursday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she was a patient since Monday. She had been in poor health for a long time.
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Saur Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph
Kalisek officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Kubsch, nee Wellner, was born April 11, 1893, in the Town of Franklin, daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Zipperer Wellner. She was married to Peter Kubsch Feb. 8, 1911, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Stark. The couple farmed at Boyd, Wis., eight years and then at Kellnersville. Mr. Kubsch died in November, 1944. She was a member of the Rosary Society.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Margaret) Stedl, of Rt. 2 Cato, three sons, Peter and victor, on the home farm and George, of Rt. 2, Cato, and three grandchildren. A daughter, three brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where at 7:30 p.m. Rosary Society members will recite the Rosary and at 9 p.m. Msgr. Kalisek will conduct the parish vigil.
