"Weeds Or Wildflowers"

Weeds or wildflowers
-What did you see
As you walked down life's path with me?
Weeds or Wildflowers
-Wildflowers or weeds...
It was your choice
(I must concede)
So carry on
For, I must rest...
Amongst the wildflowers I loved best.

-Robert Westberry

With her wonderful family beside her, our beloved mother, Joanne Humphries, passed away on August 18th, 2015.

She wants to thank all the people in Lake Arrowhead and Orange County for being a part of her journey on this earth! Born April 23rd, 1933 to Herbert and Evelyn Stinson, Joan, or AKA "Joanne" or "Bebe" married Geoff Humphries in 1957. They built a home in Green Valley Lake and moved there in 1970. They then built another home in 1971 and moved to Lake Arrowhead where they both sold Real Estate, built several other homes and raised their family.

Joanne had a mortgage business until 2010. In her retirement years Joanne worked at Mountains Community Hospital in housekeeping just to stay busy.

She really enjoyed her life sailing, traveling, doing her exercises and seeing the wild flowers in life! She truly wants to express her thankfulness for all who were a part of it!

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Jennifer Devine, and her three sons, Steve and Dennis Mackenzie and Geoff Humphries, along with her eight grandchildren and six half-great-grandchildren. She truly loved sharing the words of "Do you want to see the weeds or the wildflowers in life? The choice is yours!" So with all this said, her last words she wrote were... "Thanks everyone for the memories and now I'm outta here" :)

Love lives forever!!!!! Xoxoxoxo
