Thomas Michael McCann, age 25. He was a fireman on the Lusitania and was the son of Bridget McCann, of 32, Arthur St., Barrow-in-Furness, Lancs, and the late Joseph McCann. Born in Co. Armagh. There is a chance he was the Thomas McCann, aged 11, who in 1901 lived at 41 Drumanhee, Jonesborough, County Armagh, Ireland, with his mother Bridget, a farmer born ca. 1865 in Armagh, and siblings Sarah, b. 1887, Mary, b. 1892, and Stephen, b. 1895. Also present in the household was his grandmother Alice McCrink, a widowed domestic nurse b. ca. 1830 in Armagh. The McCann family belonged to the Roman Catholic Church. In 1915, he lived at 97 Brook Street, Birkenhead, Cheshire. Thomas McCann did not survive the sinking of the Lusitania.
