Services Held for Frances Trompke, 75

Funeral services were held Monday from the Ord Catholic church for Frances Rose Trompke, 75. Fr. Stanley Gorak officiated. Rosary was Sunday evening at the Hastings-Pearson chapel. Burial was at the Ord cemetery.
Frances Rose Trompke was born Nov. 3, 1882 to Frank and Rose Krakowski at Pittsburgh, Pa. She was married to Joseph Trompke at Ashton, Nebr., on Nov. 23, 1905. For a time the couple lived in Rockville and came to Ord 34 years ago, where he was employed as section foreman.
Survivors include four daughters, Clara Wells, Ord; Agnes Nelson, Burwell; Elizabeth Kearns, Ord; Mae Hansen, Ord; and Sylvia Drawbridge, Omaha; one son, Dan Trompke, Ord; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ben and Frank Krakowski of Rockville and Stanley of Ravenna.
Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Dick Barent and Mrs. Alex Bartunek of Rockville, Mrs. Tony Peters and Mrs. Anton Cours of Farwell. Her husband, one daughter, and one son preceded her in death.
