Mrs. James King, 63, of Valders, died Friday at Holy Family hospital here following a lingering illness. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Berge funeral home in Valders and at 2 o’clock at the Valders West Lutheran church with the Rev. Norman Berntson officiating. Burial will take place in the adjoining cemetery.
Born in Marinette County in 1888, Mrs. King and her husband moved to Valders about 30 years ago.
Surviving in addition to the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Angeline Frazer of Manitowoc and Mrs. Walter Fencl of Valders; and six sons, Beaton of Oneida, Joseph of Valders, George of Port Washington, DeForest of Green Bay, S/Sgt Charles with the army in the Philippines, and Cpl James with the Army in Germany.
The body may be viewed at the Berge funeral home from Tuesday afternoon until removed to the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
