Michael Beve Phelps, 62 died Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital.

Michael was born December 25, 1952 in Hamilton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Vicki (Hileman) Phelps, his parents Beve Phelps and Ida Mae (Walden), his brothers Lawrence E. Phelps and Roger E. Phelps, James Kevin Phelps, sisters Annetta A. DeMonge and Betty J. Jones. Michael was a longtime employee of MAHLE Engine Components. He loved writing and playing music on his guitar and spending time on Cherokee Lake. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.”

His is survived by his sister Sue Hubbard of Hamilton, Ohio, mother-in-law Eleanor Evans, 2 sister-in-laws Anne Horner, and Jan Greene. He is also survived by a great niece Jessie Morton and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to add a special thanks to the Morristown Hamblen CCU staff, and Dr. Ernesto Mejia for the wonderful care given.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 20, 2015 3:30PM at Hamblen Memory Gardens with Rev. Alonzo Collins officiating. A visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00PM-3:00PM prior to the service.
