Mr. Quirin Swetlik Sr., 79, a resident of Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc and formerly of 806 N. 11th Street, Manitowoc, died Friday morning, November 9, 1990 at Park Lawn Home. Funeral services will be 9 am Monday at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 9:30 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Ronald Reimer with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Kellnersville.
He was born March 22, 1911 at Kellnersville, Wisconsin, son of the late John and Mary Shusta Swetlik. He married Eleanor M. Braun on January 5, 1932 at Whitelaw, Wisconsin. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; nine childlren, Leroy (Sharon) Swetlik, Quirin Jr., (Janice) Swetlik, Dale (Lynn) Swetlik, all of Manitowoc, Alan Swetlik of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Elaine (Leroy) Olson, Nancy (Ronald) Staudinger, all of Manitowoc, Beatrice (William) Antholz of Milford, Delaware, Florence (Kenneth) Fredrich of East Dundee, Illinois, Janice (Kenneth) Wanek of Appleton; a sister, Anna Fictum of Stangelville; 23 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a brother and 2 sisters.
