According to the (June 19) 1900 Census, she was a widow, living as a Boarder with 2 of her young children, Lucy Jane and Sidney Harrison Wallace. She then marries Amber William Rachels on Sep 9, 1900. He died on June 7, 1927.

She dies on Aug 12 1930, age 80, at Yadkin, NC. Her Certificate of Death list her burial at Pilot Mountain Burial. I searched the Cemeteries in that area, but was unsuccessful.
