SAN ANTONIO: Oscar Giles, age 72, formerly of Yoakum, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015. He was born February 20, 1943 to the late Horace and Lillian Giles. He graduated from Asberry High School in Yoakum.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Hudgins; son, Tyrone Giles; 3 sisters and 6 brothers.
Viewing will begin at 2p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2015 at St. James Baptist Church-Pleasant Grove Community with Funeral Service at 3 p.m., with Rev. Marcel Giles officiating and Rev. Lynn Jones, eulogist. Burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
