Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Glad Tiding Church honoring the life of Esther Louise Bourque, 75, who died Friday, September 18, 2015.

She will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery with Rev. Harold Eiland officiating the services.

She is survived by husband, Holloway E. Bourque, Jr. of Pecan Island; a brother, Carl Hardin and his wife Juanita of Abbeville; niece, Donna Winch and her husband Warren Dale Winch of Pecan Island; nephew, Donavon Winch and his wife Geri of Lafayette; her beloved children: son, Dirk Desonier and his wife Karen of Lacassine, daughter, Delaine Desonier Chastain and her husband Todd of Lake Charles; son, John Fleuriet and his wife Jeanne of Abbeville; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Eva Hardin; former husband, Edward "Buddy" Richard; and a sister, Emma Lou Winch.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Glad Tiding Church, 27520 W. Highway 82, Kaplan, LA on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 2:00 p.m.until 9:00 p.m. the church will reopen at 8:00 a.m. Sunday, September 20, 2015 until time of service.
