June Nickless Winship, 85, entered into rest on Sept. 16, 2015. June Mildred Nickless was born in Unity, Maine on Aug. 18, 1930, the youngest of three children. She graduated as Valedictorian at sixteen, marrying Hershell Winship that same year.

She worked for Davidson Rubber Co in Dover, NH and as legal secretary in Florida.

She was a Deacon at St. Andrew's Church in Sarasota for several years before moving back to Tampa three years ago.

June is predeceased by her parents, Percy Nickless and Hazel Briggs Nickless; brother, Bernard Nickless; sister-in-law, Polly Nickless; and her husband, Hershell Winship.

She is survived by her brother, Erwin Nickless of Unity, ME; daughter, Deborah Holliday of Tampa; son, Blaine Winship and daughter-in-law Karin Byrne of Tallahassee; grandson, Brian Holliday; granddaughter, Kathryn Holliday; granddaughter-in-law, Silvana Holliday; grandson-in-law Bryan Thompson; great-grandsons, Oliver Thompson, Andrew and Nicholas Holliday; sister-in-law, Pearl Nickless; and a host of nieces and nephews in Maine.

Family and friends will be received and services will be held at Blount & Curry Carrollwood Chapel Funeral Home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave, Tampa, burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
