Mary was born on September 15, 1919 in Hays, Kansas, daughter of the late John A. and Catherine (Gross) Bieker.
On November 18, 1939 she married Clarence F. Brull in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death in 1984 after 45 years of marriage.
Mary worked at the Manitowoc Health Care Center for 16 years as an Occupational Therapist. She also worked at Marco Manner and later at Harmony House, both in Manitowoc.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Diana Brull, Manitowoc; three grandchildren: Jerry C. Brull, Timothy M. Brull and Mary K. Brull; four great grandchildren: Erika Brull, Austin, TX, Jordan Brull, Green Bay, Mysyk Brull and Hollie Brull, both of Manitowoc; one brother: Alvin Bieker; and one special niece: Joyce Marshand. Other relatives and friends also survive.
Mary was also preceded in death by one stillborn daughter; a six month old daughter: Marylyn Brull; six brothers: Eugene, Henry, Marcellus, Elmer, Clarence and Alfred Bieker; and two sisters: Alice Konitzer and Lucille Bieker.
Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Burial of Mary's cremated remains will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers, at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. The Pfeffer Funeral Home and All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Manitowoc Healthcare Center where mom called home for 7 and a half years. We also want to thank the Heartland Hospice Care for their help and excellent work.
