Amparo Baldes Bulosan, 89, of Kahului, passed away on July 11, 2014 at Hale Makua, Kahului. She was born on October 21, 1924 in Pahoa on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Visitation will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Christ the King Church, eulogy at 7:30 p.m., and Mass at 8 p.m.; visitation continues at the church at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014, eulogy at 11 a.m., and Prayer Service at 11:30 a.m.; burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park.

Amparo is survived by her sons, Johnny (Romana) Bulosan, Damian (Avelina) Bulosan, Rolando (Elsa) Bulosan, and Reynaldo (Carmencita) Bulosan; daughters, Aniceta Magarin, Victoria (Arturo) Tumaneng, Dionie (Leo) Cabias, Remie Onnagan and Eleanor (Renante) Aglugub, and; sister, Marcela (Mateo) Manzano; 19 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Juan and Gerarda Valdez; husband, Ferminvito Bulosan; brothers, Benjamin and Rodrigo Valdez; sons-in-law, Ricardo Magarin and Larry Onnagan, Jr.; grandson, Mario Bulosan; and great-grandson, Jordan Yadao.
