He was born December 2, 1962 in Chester, Pennsylvania to Henry Wilbur and Betty Mae Weakland Cook.
He attended Lakeside High School in Hot Springs, Arkansas and graduated in 1980. Rick also served in the USAF and was stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany at some point in his career.
Rick always put his beloved family first. He put a smile on their faces every day. He always saw the good in people and in every situation and was an all-around positive person. He also led a very active lifestyle and being healthy was very important to him. His passions include family, baseball (#14), the stock market and working out. He was a dedicated employee with AT&T for over 15 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Susanne Martin; beloved daughter, Jessica Cook; step-daughters, Amanda, Alissa and Christin Martin; siblings, Robert Cook (Alicia), Michael Cook (Janice), Linda Cook and Daniel Cook (Paula); nieces and nephews, Mandy McDaniel, Thomas Cook, Michael Cook, Jr., Jaclyn Cook and Danielle Cook.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.
