Virginia Beach - Margaret Bowden Karn, 97, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 20, 2015.
Mrs. Karn, a native of Norfolk, Virginia, was the daughter of the late William S. Bowden and Annie Thacker Bowden. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick A. Karn, Jr.; and her son-in-law, Dan Maxwell. She was a member of Squires Memorial Presbyterian Church, Norfolk, Virginia.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Keith Willyard officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Squires Memorial Presbyterian Church or to the charity of your choice.
