Husband of Catherine nee Butcher He first enlisted 28 July 1941 as Gunner 4115, 2nd Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment Royal Malta Artillery, discharged from army 26 March 1945. Re-enlisted 19 February 1946 as 11561, 8th Searchlight Battery, 2nd HAA Regiment, Royal Malta Artillery. He died 29 October 1951 while soccer training from acute endocarditis following a tooth extraction on the 19 May 1951.
