Lewis W. Bockelman, 74, of 234 W. Maple Ave., Libertyville, died Monday in Riverwood Nursing Home, Half Day.
Mr. Bockelman was born Oct. 8, 1893 and had lived most of his life in the area. He was an engineer for the Chicago-Milwaukee Railroad for 46 years before retiring in 1963.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Blanche Geary of Mundelein and three grandchildren. His wife, Maude, died in March 1963.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Burnett Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Martin of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.
