Obituary for Richard Benjamin Camrud Jr.
Richard (Dick) B. Camrud Jr., 85, Fargo, ND formally of Buxton, ND passed away January 24, 2015 at Eventide in Moorhead, MN. He was born April 25, 1929 in Wolf Point, MT to Richard B. Camrud Sr. and Malina (Foss) Camrud. He grew up and graduated from Buxton High School in 1947. Richard married Caroline (Ness) Camrud on June 6, 1964 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, ND.

From a young age, Richard knew he belonged on the farm. He took over the family farm immediately after high school and farmed for 47 years before retiring to Fargo. Richard served on the Farm Credit Services of Grand Forks board of directors and as a Stavanger Township supervisor.

He is survived by two sons; David (Marcie) Camrud of Fargo, ND and Rick (Jill) Camrud of Buxton, ND; grandchildren Connor, Evan & Caleb Camrud of Fargo, ND and Alyssa, Jack, Tricia and Joseph of Buxton, ND; Sister, Corinne Eliason, Grand Forks, ND and sister-in-laws Madelyn Camrud, Grand Forks, ND and Natalie Camrud, Rochester, MN. He was preceded in death by brothers, Idan, Omar, Ray & Ted Camrud and sister Carol Camrud Kloster.
