He was born in New Hanover Twp., Burlington County, NJ. His parents were Augustus Horn and Maria Danley Horn Walton.

He was a telegraph operator (1880), pottery worker (1900), and hay dealer (1910).

He may have been a difficult person. There are newspaper notices of his arrest on a couple of occasions for disorderly conduct-type offenses.

He married Margaret/Maggie Gabriel 17 Oct 1889 in Trenton. She may have died before 1920 and may or may not be buried here. Her father was Clarkson Gabriel.

They had two sons--John (1890-before 1920) and Charles (1893 -1966). A daughter Winnie was born 29 June 1890 but no further record of her has been found. There also was a pair of twins Ernest and George born in 1894 who seem to have died young. By 1900 only John and Charles are in the household.

(His daughter in law Jennie Hall Horn 1893-1940, wife of son John, lived with them in 1910. It is not known what happened to their daughter b. 1910 who was Lena in the 1910 Census and Anna in the 1920 and 1930 Censuses. Mother and daughter moved to Philadelphia.)

This grave may be unmarked. His sister and niece and their husbands are in Section P NW.
