Janet M. Hicks-Evans, died Sept. 19, 2015. She was born 5-20-1928 to Alice Howard and Richard Abrams. Janet graduated from Henryetta High School and attend Oklahoma A&M where she met and married Richard Hicks and had four children. After her first marriage ended she married Jack W. Evans in 1982 and gained a son Jackie. Over the years she was a House Mother at Phi Beta Phi, Oklahoma State University and retired from the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Edmond, OK. Janet loved OSU and attending all the Cowboy sporting events and was also an avid St Louis Cardinal fan. She enjoyed giving to others and donated her time to the Hope Center and Meals on Wheels. Janet was especially fond of her Pi Phi girlfriends and playing bridge. She is survived by husband Jack, sons Richard, Jay, daughter Diann and husband Randy, step-son Jackie and wife Sabrina, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Andy, her parents, sister Virginia Hamilton and brother John Abrams. Private Services. Donations in her memory may be made to your favorite charity .
