Charles retired from Iron Workers local 301 of Charleston, WV. He was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his parents Pearl Warren Allen and Thelma Cyrus Allen; sister Betty Smith; brothers William, Harold and Adrian Allen. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Shirley Jean Kinder Allen.
