Passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the age of 100 years.

The daughter of Wilhelm and Anna (Fischer) Feuerhelm was born September 18, 1915 in Thomas Township. On September 21, 1935 she was married to Edward J. Greenwood. He predeceased her October 19, 1998. Dorothea was an excellent cook and baked the best tasting bread in the county. She loved the farm life and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren for whom she spent many hours babysitting. Among her hobbies were gardening, quilting and doing crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed the company of her dog, Missy. Dorothea was a long time member of St. John XXIII Parish. (St. Mary of Hemlock)


The funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary of Hemlock. Rev. Dennis Kucharszyk will officiate with burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday where a parish vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Friends may then call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the funeral liturgy. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. John XXIII parish or the charity of their choice. Mrs. Greenwood's family wish to thank the many loving caregivers at Health Source.
