Mrs. Bender, the wife of Joseph Bender, of Portage township, failed to withstand the operation made upon here, and died last Wednesday in Michigan City, of blood-poisoning. Deceased leaves a husband and two daughters. She was a sister of the Crisman brothers, of Portage township, and a loving wife and mother.
