Mrs. Ada B. Shaffer, 82, of 156 N. Douglas Ave., died at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. W.C. Shaffer.
Surviving are three daughters, Lena F. Shaffer and Mrs. Maxine Dunkel, both of Springfield, and Mrs. LaRue Lehman, Pleasant Plains; three sons, F.M. Shaffer, Beaver Dam, Wis.; W.C. Shaffer Jr., Buffalo Hart, and M. Sgt. Donald Shaffer, Hamilton Air Force Base, Calif.; two foster sons, Rex Hogan, Azusa, Calif., and Preston Brown, Oak Park; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and one brother, C.A. Miller, Argenta.
Services will be held at Westminister Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Edward W. Ziegler officiating.
Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
