He was born July 23, 1938 in St. Louis, MO, son of William Price and Wilma (Barber) Barber. He and Louella Heitman were married on July 28, 1961. She survives in Brazeau.
Larry retired as Maintenance Crew Leader after 42 years of service at MoDot. He was a lifelong resident of the Brazeau community and a lifelong member of Brazeau Presbyterian Church. He served as a church officer in various capacities. He was a charter member, serving as secretary of the Brazeau Church Cemetery. He was a member of the Millersville Chapter of Masons. Larry valued his family and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Other survivors include two sons, Joseph Price Barber of Brazeau, Daniel Gene (Deanna) Barber of Osage Beach, MO; one daughter, Brenda Carol (Shane) Gudde of Jefferson City, MO; and three grandchildren, Jack and Lydia Gudde and Luke Barber.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
