Edmond served our country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked his whole life in the oil fields.
Edmond is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years who passed away October 10, 2009. He was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Rick and Randy, 2 sisters, Wanita and Evelyn and 2 brothers, William and Stanley.
Survivors include 1 sister, Phylis Steeb, 2 daughters, Ronda Garcia of Albion, Tina Gibbs (Carl Smith) of Homer, 2 sons, Glen (Pam) Bentley of Branch, MI and Edmond Jr. of Minneapolis, MN, 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
Edmond's family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday October 1, 2015 from 4-8 PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion, MI.
His life will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM. with Minister Ken Herrick officiating. Burial will follow at Albion Memory Gardens where he will be laid to rest next to his wife, Ellen.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
