BARRY - At the residence of Dr. W. B. Barry. 600 St. James street, Alexandria on Saturday, August 4, 1923, at 8:30 o'clock, p. m., Mrs. Irene E. Barry, mother of Dr. Barry. The remains were taken on Sunday morning to her home at Grand Coteau, La., for interment in the family graveyard.
Mrs. Barry was born in New Orleans, and was 67 years of age. She was the widow of the late F. A. Barry and is survived by the following children: Dr. W. B. Barry of Alexandria, Misses Linda and Edith Barry and F. S. Barry of Grand Coteau, and Mrs. Albert Levet of Mobile, Ala. She also leaves fourteen grandchildren.
Mrs. Barry was here on a visit to her son and family when she was taken ill and died.
