Charley Burge
Funeral services for Charley Burge of Hutchinson were held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the First Christian church. There was a large gathering of friends present, the services were very nice and the flowers were abundant and beautiful.

Rev. E.W. Harrison officiated. He delivered a very appropriate talk from the Twenty third Psalm. Mrs. Owen Nisbet and Mrs. John Schwantes with Mrs. Harrison as accompanist provided the music. They sang: "Saved by Grace" and "Hear the Words of Consolation."

Burial was made in Union cemetery. The Pall bearers were six stone and brick masons of this city.

Charley Burge was born in Fulton county, Illinois, in 1872 and at the time of his death was 55 years, eight months and 10 days old. He died December 14 at his home, in Hutchinson. Surviving relatives are his wife and four children. They are: Mrs. S.T. Miller, Ruth and Guy Burge all of Hutchinson, and Harvey Burge of Amarillo, Texas, and mother, Mrs. Sarah Burge of Los Angeles.

Three brothers and four sisters also survive. They are: John Burge of Winfield, George of Kansas City, Kansas, Floyd of Shreveport, La., Mrs. Elsie Goodwin, Mrs. Daisy Fisher and Mrs. Dillie Hansaker all of Los Angeles and Mrs. Emma Yount of Mapleton, Oregon.
