Mrs. Hartley and her husband worked as psychiatric technicians at Atascadero, DeWitt, Mendocino and Napa State Hospitals. She retired from Napa State Hospital in 1961, She was a Napa resident since 1930.
Survivors include her son Arthur of Napa, brother John Mathewson of Warren, Pennsylvania, sister Mrs. Messie Edgecome of Traverse City, and one granddaughter.
