CHARLES ELMORE SWIGERT SR.
Charles Elmore Swigert Sr., 74, died at the home of his son Charles E. Swigert jr., 864 Mamchester street, Sunday after a short illness. He was born and reared in West Virginia. For 19 years he had been an employe of the Hendricks, Moore, young Company in Lexington.
Besifes his son, Charles Jr., he is survived by another son, F. M. Swigert, of Lexington; a daughter, Miss Eva Swigert; four brothers, Edward, Albert, Arlda and Marshall Swigert, all of West Virginial four sisters, Mrs. Helen Nurns, Mrs. Vernie Cottrell, Mrs. Sarah Brown and Mrs. Alice McAvee, all of West Virginia, and 11 grandchildren. The body was removed to the home of the son, F. M. Swigert, 868 Manchester street. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Funeral services for Charles E. Swigert Sr., 74, who died Sunday, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p'clock at the home of his don, Charles E. Swigert Jr., 864 Manchester street, Rev. Ward Russell officiating. Pall bearers will be James Doster, Ban Kiger, Lewis Moore, I. N. Merchant, John E. Gorham and R. M. Stark. Burial will be in the family lot in Lexington Cemetery.
