OBITUARY
Funeral services for Grace Mary Hemenway were held Tuesday, April 12, 1983 at Zion Lutheran Church at 10:30.
The service was officiated by Reverend Keith Blom. Marie Gregory, organist accompanied a duet by Gloria Schaefer and Leanna Zirpel, "How Great Thou Art" "Just As I Am".
Casket bearers were Delmer Volmer, Don Louder, Jay Dooley, Jim Schaefer, David Miller, Dennis Zirpel.
Serving as ushers were Raymond Moore and Floyd Libner. Hilda Pitan was at the register book and memorials.
Burial was in the Presho Cemetery.
Grace Mary Mueller was born September 4, 1902 at Owatonna, Minn. eldest daughter of Helmut and Clara (Holscher) Mueller, The family moved to Howard, S.D. where she attended school. On May 18, 1919 she was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church, Howard, S. D. The family moved to Presho, S. D. in 1920, where she spent most of her remaining years.
Grace married Carl B. Hemenway on May 29, 1934 at Murdo, S.D. To this union two children were born. She passed away at her home April 9, 1983.
Survived by her husband, Carl of Presho; daughter and son-in-law Helen and Merrill Louder of Draper, and son and daughter-in-law Rev. William and Sue Hemenway of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho; three grandsons Rob Louder, Paul and Mark Hemenway; one sister Gladys Diesch of Cheyenne, Wyoming, many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, one brother Elmer Mueller on one grandson, Rodney Louder.
