SYLVANIA: Sister Mary Edward Ann peacefully entered into eternal reston Monday, April 30 after being a resident at Rosary Care Center forthe past three years.
Born Ann Mary to Edward and Anna Butler Hoffmann on August 11, 1931,she spent her early years in Millersville, Ohio experiencing the family spirit of a small parish as her parents were both involved in parish activities. Ann attended St. Mary School in Millersville and Notre Dame Academy in Toledo before she entered the Sisters of Notre Dame in 1949.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her brothers Alfred and Joseph. Left to mourn her are her sister-in-law Mary Benner of Fremont, Ohio, nieces and nephews, and her religious sisters of the Toledo Province.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 1 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Toledo Provincial Center on Secor Road with Sharing of Memories at 7:00 p.m.The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. in the Provincial Center Chapel. Burial will take place on Thursday morning at Resurrection Cemetery.
