OBIT: OSSEO – William D. Gilbert, 89, Rt. 1, died Wednesday afternoon at Osseo Area Hospital. He was born at Osseo and married Bernice Howard June 7, 1913. He was a rural mail carrier for 12 years and then farmed until retirement. Survivors include two sons, James, Osseo, Howard, Chippewa Falls; two brothers, Robert, Leonard, both of Osseo; three sisters, Mrs. Lenora Sather, Montana, Mrs. Herbert Youderian, Polsbo, Washs., Mrs. Selmer Roinestad, Emmett, Idaho; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Oftedahl Funeral Home here, with burial in Osseo Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until services.
