William Henry Mumper was the son of Alfred McAllister Mumper, Grandson of John Mumper , and Great grandson of John Mumper. He had no children. His body was shipped to Albany, Oregon and he was buried beside his wife, May (COTTAGE) Mumper (d: 1963) whom he married in Vancouver, WA. in 1943. Albany city directories report that while he was once a minister at the First Church of the Nazarene, he was later a salesman for Solar Electric Products.

"The Rev. William Henry Mumper, 89, former Albany pastor recently of Mira Loma, Calif., died Tuesday in Riverside, Calif. Grave side service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens on Riverside Drive with the Rev. Edwin E. Crawford officiating. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Dec. 9, 1885 in Pennsylvania. He married May Cottage. She preceded him in death Aug. 29, 1963." (Note: Rev. Mumper officiated at his wife's funeral.)

Rev. William Mumper's first wife was Frances A. Marvin. They were married in 1914 in Los Angeles County, CA. Frances' maiden name may have been Tuttle, but this needs further investigation. No children where born from this union.
