Daniel J. Britt April 27, 1969 - January 26, 2015 Resided in Uxbridge, MA - Daniel J. Britt, 45, passed away in his sleep at his home in Sanford, Florida on January 26, 2015. Daniel was employed in Sanford, Florida for approximately 4 years at Innovtec, and 7 years at G&T Conveyor as a Project Coordinator. Daniel, the son of James and Joyce (Palmer) Britt of Uxbridge, was born April 27, 1969 in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Blackstone Valley Vocational Technical High School in Upton, and later graduated from Pellissippi State College in Knoxville, Tennessee. Although a Florida resident, Daniel maintained allegiance to the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Among his many talents, Daniel was a music aficionado, as well as maintained a popular blog called Penalty Kick Orlando. Additionally, he was one of Orlando City Soccer Club's original supporters, and most loyal fans. However, by far, his greatest passion was being a father. Daniel is survived by Betsy (Grocke) Britt and his beloved daughter, Alina Colette Britt; 7 siblings: Janet (Britt) and her husband Tom Pennock, Jean (Britt) and her husband Pete Lancellotti, Thomas Britt, Sharon Britt, Tammy (Britt) and her husband Jason Gould, James Britt, Jr. and Patrick Britt, as well as many nieces and nephews. Daniel is predeceased by his grandparents, Russell and Margaret "Eleanor" (McCullum) Britt, and Raymond and Gladys (Perry) Palmer. Visiting hours will be Fri. February 6, 2015 from 6 – 9 PM in the Buma Funeral Home, 101 North Main St. (Rt. 122), Uxbridge. A memorial service will be held on Sat. February 7, 2015 at 11 AM in the North Uxbridge Baptist Church, 5 East Hartford Ave, Uxbridge. Burial of cremains will be private.
