Robert A. Forst, age 69, of 4938 Brookfield Circle, Manitowoc, died Sunday evening, October 4, 2015 at his residence.He was born on January 27, 1946 in Manitowoc, son of the late Leo and Adeline (Cisowski) Forst. Bob was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School and was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War at the Whitehouse. On October 17, 1987 he married the former Patricia Miller Yankee at Faith Free Church, Manitowoc. Bob was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company as a model maker. He also was a musician since the age of 16. Bob performed in many bands as a bass guitarist, drummer and vocalist throughout Wisconsin. He also owned and operated RAF Repair and Fabrication in Manitowoc.Survivors include his wife: Patricia Forst; a daughter and son-in-law: Kim and Paul Steffen; one son and daughter-in-law: Scott and Teresa Yankee, all of Manitowoc; five grandchildren: Dustin, Jordan, Olivia, Tanner and Brandon; and a brother: Gary Forst, Milwaukee. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by a brother: Michael.Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Faith Free Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Memorial Service will be the Rev. Jeremy Vance. Military Rites will be accorded by V.F.W. Otto Oas Post #659.The family will greet relatives and friends at Faith Free Church, Manitowoc, on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
