Steven A. Harris, age 68, of Huntingburg, passed away at 6:24 a.m., on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born September 19, 1947 in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Glenn and Alberta (Fisher) Harris. He married ....on June 1, 1968 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Huntingburg. Mr. Harris worked 15 years as a coal miner in Illinois and worked 15 years with the City of Huntingburg where he recently retired. Steven enjoyed playing golf, washing cars and mowing the grass, and watching Yankee's baseball. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; one sister, Glenda Turpin; and one brother, Jack Harris.

Funeral services for Steven Harris was held at 4:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with military rites conducted by the V.F.W. Post #2366 Memorial Detail. Cremation took place following the visitation and funeral service.
Visitation: Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, the day of the funeral.
