Roy L. Ashcraft Sr. 66 years old of Louisville, Kentucky died suddenly Friday January 29, 1954 at his home.

Loving husband of Edna (nee Chilton) Ashcraft; devoted father of Mrs. K F (Suzanne) Von Roenn, Mr. Jefferson Chilton (JC) Ashcraft and Roy L Ashcraft Jr.; a brother , J F Ashcraft of California; a sister, Mrs. Arvin Waters of Illinois, Mrs. Nelse (Lucinda) Lilja of Wisconsin, Mrs. W F (Virginia) Absher of Oklahoma, Mrs. Ed (Rose) Gillingham; 11 grandchildren.

Mr. Ashcraft was one of 13 children born to Mr. and Mrs. John Ashcraft of Meade County, Kentucky.
