Ashley, 25 and Ilana, 6 of Wellsville, Kansas passed away Wednesday, October 7th. A visitation will be held Sunday, October 11th from 5:00-7:00PM at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday, October 12th at 2:00PM at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Ashley was born January 16, 1990 and Ilana was born January 20, 2009. Ashley worked at Red Robin in Olathe, Kansas. She loved to be around people and had a smile that was contagious. Ilana attended 1st grade at Wellsville Elementary. They were both avid Raiders fans and loved to watch Danica Patrick race NASCAR. They could often be found listening and dancing to all kinds of music, watching The Walking Dead, shopping, and enjoying the lake. They were known as the "Selfie Queens", as they were often taking pictures together.
Ashley was blessed with two moms before the passing of her biological mom, Deborah (Clark) Cooper in February. Ashley and Ilana leave behind to cherish their memory their dad and Papi, Nathan Towner and mom and Mimi, Michele Towner; brother and uncle, Cody Cooper; sister and aunt, Mariah Towner; paternal grandparents and great-grandparents, Jim & Coralyn Towner and maternal grandparents and great-grandparents, Vernon & Diana Clark as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
