She was born Feb. 6, 1929, in Albany, New York, the daughter of the late James F. and Luella M. (Goodhind) Coyne. Luella attended public schools in Hadley and went on to Northampton Commercial College. She married James B. Finn, May 10, 1949. After raising her children in Florence and Northampton she moved with her husband in 1980, making their home in Easthampton.
She was a member of the American Legion Dalton Lavalle Post 224 Auxiliary. She actively supported her husband, past Commander James "Bud" Finn who died in 2014. Luella was a lifetime contributor to St. Jude and . Luella enjoyed bingo, bird watching, boating, collecting stuffed animals and Santa's (she had a quite a collection).
She enjoyed her family and will be missed. Luella is survived by one son, James B. Finn, Jr., and his wife Louise of Easthampton; two daughters, Ora E. Finn of Dudley, and Karla Jean DeLisle and her husband Glenn of Granby; twin sister Francis Rewa of New Jersey, and sister Marian Gray of Ashfield; seven grandchildren, Steven and Kristie Buckowski, Matthew Finn, Malcolm and Joshua Nierodzinski, Jenna Medina and her husband Hector and Meghan Lucia and her husband Mike; three great-grandchildren, Gavin and Ellery Buckowski and Jacoby Medina; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, James and Edward Coyne and one sister, Lillian Morrey.
Visiting hours will be Monday, Oct. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Easthampton. Burial will be private in Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
