Funeral Planned for Mrs. Statham.

Mrs. T.J. Statham, 77-year-old resident of Anniston, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M.A. Morton, this morning at 7 o'clock. An active member of the McCoy Methodist Church Mrs. Statham had lived in Anniston for 55 years.

Last rites will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at Usrey Chapel with interment following at Edgemont Cemetery. The Rev. J.F.T. Brown and the Rev. L.N. Claxton will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Neal New, Gavin Mange, Ausie Doss, W.L. Montgomery, Ed Jordon and W.E. Parker.

The deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. M.A. Morton, 601 West Fourteenth, and a son, J.C. Statham of Birmingham; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Isabel was the daughter of Lyttleton Early Davis and Elizabeth King of Carroll County, Georgia. She married Thomas J. Statham there on May 30, 1884, and they had three children: Izora Bell Statham, married Melvin A. Morton; Bertha Statham; and James Colbert Statham, married Lillie Cline Wells.

Isabel's middle name comes from the 1880 census.
