Mr. Durnin, a native and lifelong resident of this city, had been employed by the city for 35 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart church, the Exempt Firemen's association
and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Celestine A. Durnin; a daughter, Celestlne I. Durnin; a son, Albert W. Durnin, of the Civil Aeronautical Authority at Washington, D.C., and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Sheehan, of this city. He was the father of the late Daniel A. Durnin.
The funeral will be held from the family home Wednesday morning with services at Sacred Heart church and burial in Rlverdale cemetery.
