Mrs. Laura V. Crompton, aged 65, wife of James H. Crompton, died, at her home near Porter, this morning, following an illness of several months. Mrs. Crompton, who became the wife of Mr. Crompton about 34 years ago, was Miss Laura V. Deputy, and was born near where she died. She was a member of Lebanon M. E. Church, Red Lion. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Erna Webber, of near Porter, three sons, James H. Crompton, Jr., of this city and Bayard and Frank Crompton, of Porter, and three grandchildren.
