"Mrs. C. G. Anderson Dies, After Long Illness, Sunday"
Sunday morning, at 5:15 o'clock, Katie Waite Anderson, wife of Carl G. Anderson of 1402 Leland Street, was called by death, after an illness lasting several months. Besides her husband, the deceased, a native of Pauls Valley, Okla., leaves three sons, Bruce, aged 12, Keith 14, and Dana 18 years old, all living at home.
Coming to California six years ago, Mrs. Anderson has made her home in San Pedro for the last three years, where she had won many friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. from the Goodrich Undertaking Parlors, with Rev. Martin Luther Thomas, of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale.

"Former Resident of Oxnard Passes Away"
In a telegram received today by Rev. Miedema, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, it was learned that Mrs. Katie Waite Anderson, former Oxnard resident, passed away in San Pedro yesterday morning. Funeral services will be held there on Tuesday.
Mrs. Anderson, the wife of Carl Anderson, formerly connected with the Southern Pacific Company here, was well known in Oxnard. The Andersons made many friends during the time they lived here. They moved to San Pedro several years ago. Mrs. Anderson was very active in the work of the Presbyterian Church here and will be remembered by many Oxnarders. Her son Dana was a Boy Scout and took a prominent part in Scout activities.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband and three sons, Dana Waite, Keith Elliott, and Bruce Kelsey Anderson
